So, for those of you that wonder what Klink does since he never makes many serious posts, well, here's one. Went out with the boys this weekend, that Bird and the Guerrilla, and did some biking in and area called Nobel Canyon. It got burned up pretty bad a few years back, but still offers some incredible scenery. It was something crazy like 6 or more hours of that trail and most if felt like uphill. I may have had my fill of nature for while. ( the hurting ) Wed, Feb. 25th, 2009, 04:08 pm Hello...guys?
Echo, echo... ANYBODY! And then there were none. Thank god the last real post was about porn. See you at the bi-mon-booby-con!
So there I am, driving down from Pasedena last night at like 11pm on I-5. I was thinking how I had missed last years COmic-con and what a bummer that was considering how I really had not enjoyed my reunion so much and how I was going to this years Comic-con at all costs. Then I thought, man am I geek or what. Then I thought, yeah, but you have know that for a while now, I mean you are still buying comics and all, what's a convention once a year anyway since its about the best in the world? I mean, you can let yourself geek out publicly once in a while right? Sad, but social at least. Then I saw it. A sign. A beacon for the other thing that absorbs so much of my free thought. Was I hallucinateing, my belly full of beer and sukiyaki, my tired eyes fighting the highway hypnosis? No, it was a sign all right, a gigantic billboard for what I would sarcastically refer to as the bi-mon-booty-con if it did not already have such an oddly fitting moniker to begin with. Ssooooo who's with me...I have got to see Lucious Lopez, or at least parts of her. I know I'll never get my money's worth at this thing, and somehow I don't care. NSFW kiddies.
I propose a little old school head knocking and pugilistic behavior. Stephan J Canell, you were my god...
I would go out and buy this: Nerf goodnessAnd then try to figure out how to do this: Nerf goodernessbut then the folks at Mana have already done that, which would make a moron like me really frustrated and cause me to nerf my entire family, which would earn me the ass beating I generally got for such high jinks. Ahhhh youth. I am still going to buy that thing.
Wow, I almost forgot, so caught up in work and what not. I was making a costume in the warehouse here and thought, "Wow, why am I at work doing this? Didn't I do this with friends and stuff when I was a kid? This sucks, where are my-CRAP its CG's birthday!" Well, again, Happy Birthday to both you and CGV2, hope you can show us some Halloween pics, I will try to post some up as well.
In eerily unrelated news to both the loss of employment for Baggy's spouse and the death of Rick Wright... ( Say it ain't so... )
I think we already made this film in my backyard...oh well, if you thought Machine Girl had it going on, you won't be disapointed with this 5 minute trailer of much the same. Be warned, it is aptly titled Gore Police. Bring an Umbrella
And here's the answer, really, you boys were close. Now I need prowl around the house and find more things to shoot, uhh, pictures of that is. Fri, Aug. 15th, 2008, 11:24 am
You know you want to know... Bigfoot on ice
Did you used to get WORLD magazine when you were a kid? It was National Geographic lite, no naked aborigines or anything. But they always did have that What in the World section on the back page. Usually extreme close ups of freaky animals or machines or something. Something a little like this:
Well, thanks again to CG for posting up that Birthday greeting. I thought I'd post up a couple pics of the recent festivities to let people see what I have been up to lately.

So you missed the big shoot out, well, you probably don't live next to UC Irvine, so I understand.
Klink shoots stuff! July 15th-19th University of CA, Irvine
See Klink shoot at things in what could roughly be described as a dress. Competition shooting is Tuesday night July 15th. The other days should be suitably boring for the non Kyudo set. Remember: "The shooting, with the round of moving forward or backward, is never without courtesy and propriety."
Klink gets wasted, regresses 20 years! July 24th-July 28th Yes, its that time time of year again, reunion time. We loved Klink in '88 so why not check him out in '08. He's just as socially inept as ever at his 20th annual high school reunion. Special appearances by More than Man, Baggy and hopefully Spokesthing. Its Klink's triumphant return to the Bay area after almost 3 years absence. Not since the Jaypan days have folks in Tampa wondered why their professional sports team didn't suck so bad, the easy answer, NO KLINK! |
